Here we are in the car park before we set off. We have got our tent, sleeping bags, and all our food with us. I had to carry a lot of things and it was very heavy. I almost fell backwards.
In this photo Bunny is eating a carrot that someone gave us.
We had to walk over 2 miles to get to the campsite. We saw a lot of rock climbers. The last one we saw was in trouble because his rope was stuck...he was saying a very bad word! These are the rock climbers.
When we got to the campsite Daddy put the tent up and Daddy and Robert got dinner ready. We had a big dinner. We had hot chocolate with 2 marshmallows inside, the marshmallows melted really quickly.
Benjamin and I made a camp. We were sitting on a log when we ate our dinner.
The next day we walked back on the shorter trail. We saw 2 mice, one ran down Benjamin's arm and leg, then it ran off into the woods. We also saw a snake - Robert said it might just have shed it's skin because it didnt have a bit of dirt on it.
I had a lovely time back-packing. We had fun. my favourite bit was everything!

It sounds like you had a FANTASTIC time, Adam. You must be very strong to carry all that kit. Looks like Bunny wasn't carrying a lot... maybe he didn't need much stuff.
Fancy a mouse running down Benjamin's arm! I bet he was surprised!
And hot chocolate and marshmallows - yummmm...
